Salty bryndza cake with dill

This salty cake captured us at first sight, so we decided to try it. Its main ingredient is our favorite bryndza. The preparation is simple and the result is really worth it.


  1. Prepare a sourdough. Dissolve half cubes of yeast in a little milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Add flour, half a small teaspoon of salt, butter, lukewarm milk, 1 egg, 1 egg yolk.
  3. Stir in a smooth dough (the dough will be thin) and leave to rise covered for about 45 minutes.
  4. Pour the dough onto a baking sheet that we previously greased.
  5. Mix bryndza with sour cream. Sprinkle the dough with mixed bryndza cheese and dill.
  6. Bake at 180 °, 30 - 45 minutes.
